Ibraheem Monsurat Oluwatoyin Popularly known as MONSURAT AJOKE is a Nigerian activist and Social Entrepreneur. She was born on 15th November in the 1980’s in Kano State, Nigeria. She hailed from Ikirun Osun State, Nigeria.

Monsurat Ajoke started her Primary Education at Almamod Nursery and Primary School kona jaba, kano State but due to change of environment in 1990, she completed it at Methodist 1 primary School Isale Afo Ikirun from 1991 to 1996. Monsurat Ajoke started her Secondary School Education at Holy Micheal High School in 1997 where she had Junior Secondary School Certificate and moved to Akinorun Grammar School for her senior secondary school education between 2000 and 2003 where she had her O-Level Certificate.

Monsurat proceeded to Osun State Polythecnic Iree where She studied computer science and Information Technology and Obtain an Ordinary Diploma in 2005.

In order to obtain knowledge and Skills, Monsurat went to infinity Success Skills Acquisition School in Ile Ife.

As a woman who is always looking for more knowledge, She went further in pursuit of more knowledge at the Premier University, University of Ibadan, where she was awarded the Bachelor Science certificate (BSC) in guidance and Counselling.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT CASE

There was a young girl who is an orphan, through the ill-treatment received from her guardian developed a lump in the neck which later turned to cancer before we were involved in January this year, the doctors demanded for #8.5m for her surgery which we were unable to gather till she died later in May this year. Her sister is alive and also needed some amount of money to go back to school.which we are working on currently.

SEXUAL HARRASMENT AND ABUSE CASES

There were two girls from Ejigbo whose father was sleeping with at a very tender age, we got to know about the case and we pursued it, the father was later Detained at the Correctional Center in Ilesha. The girls were taken to our custody for three months taking care of her before we later handed them over to their grandmother when we run out of resources and could no longer keep them in our custody.

HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND SEXUAL EXPLOITATION CASE

There is also a girl from Cameron that we met during our visit to the Correctional Center Ilesha, her friend told her she has gotten a job for her in Osun state not knowing it was prostitution. They had the first shot of blue film at Alora Hotel and the second one at the Osun groove. Baba Elebu Ibon saw the video and sue them to court and they were remanded at the Correctional Center Ilesha, after much appeal to baba Elebu Ibon, he pardoned them. The poor girl told their manager she was no longer interested in the job and the man refused to pay for her bail. We were told that a letter has been written to Cameron embassy but no response has been received yet. The last time she went to court, the manager did not come and the girl was returned to the Correctional centre. We have secured her bail now and presently she’s in our custody for proper care and try to integrate her back to the society or probably send her back to her people in Cameron.

RELATIONSHIP AND SOCIAL CONFLICT CASE

We recently secured the out of the Correctional center for another girl who went to bear witness for her boyfriend who fought with an influential person in their community in court but ended up being remanded at Correctional center.
